Yashasvi Dixit a young prodigy from Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, has taken the Indian classical dance world by storm with her remarkable talent in Kathak. At just six years old, Yashasvi has already made a significant mark in the field, earning accolades and recognition at both state and national levels. Her dedication and natural flair for the dance form have set her apart as one of the most promising young dancers in India.
Mahadevi Verma, Thumri Samrat Lallan Piya and renowned Tabla maestro Haji Vilayat Ali of the Farrukhabad Gharana were born in Farrukhabad, also known as Apra Kashi. Following in their footsteps, Yashasvi has emerged as a shining star from the same land. With the relentless guidance of her Kathak teacher and choreographer, Anjali Chauhan and Pushpa Naagar. Yashasvi has etched her name in the India Book of Records, bringing immense pride to the district of Farrukhabad.
Yashasvi Dixit was born on January 16, 2018, in Ukhraa village, Nawabganj area, Farrukhabad district. Currently, she resides with her family in Awas Vikas. She started learning classical dance at the young age of three. Recognizing her extraordinary talent, she was honored at the Farrukhabad Mahotsav in 2023 with a certificate of appreciation by the then District Magistrate, Sanjay Kumar Singh.
Her commitment to the art has been recognized in numerous state and national-level competitions, where she has consistently impressed judges and audiences alike. She was honored in a competition organized by Dainik Jagran Farrukhabad by Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of State for Child Development and Nutrition, Pratibha Shukla. In another event organized by C.P. Foundation, she was felicitated with a memento by the Minister of State for Higher Education, Rajni Tiwari, and Kaimganj MLA Surabhi Gangwar.
On National Youth Day, Yashasvi was honored by the then Chief Development Officer, Arvind Mishra. One of her most remarkable achievements came on December 26, 2023, when she secured second place in a three-day national-level Kathak dance competition held in Hyderabad, bringing pride to Farrukhabad. In April 2024, she mesmerized everyone with her dance performance in a national-level Kathak dance competition in Haridwar. Her journey continued in June 2024, where she became the runner-up in an international Kathak dance competition held in Goa.
Apart from being a talented dancer, Yashasvi has also achieved a phenomenal milestone in academics. She has memorized the names of all 193 countries in the world along with their capitals. In the Indian polity, she has memorized the Preamble of the Constitution, all 22 parts of the Constitution with their articles, all fundamental rights with their articles, all Directive Principles of State Policy with their articles, all 12 schedules of the Constitution, and articles related to the President, Vice President, Parliament, Supreme Court, High Court, Governor, Chief Minister, Advocate General, Comptroller and Auditor General, and Attorney General of India. Additionally, she knows the tenure and years of service of all Presidents and Prime Ministers of India, with a special focus on Uttar Pradesh.
